here we have my xe astravan. i have owned the van since last summer when it was a GM diesel but this had the old head gasket trouble (no surprize there then) so that was ripped out and replaced with the isuzu as at the time it was there and didnt have a decent xe. at the beginning of december i bought an xe that was a 'good runner' it ran for 300miles!!!
i then sourced a L reg astra gsi that had been in a rear end smash with only 79k miles on the clock, now done 81k. i used this engine to replace the other but replaced the cambelt, plugs, oil and filter change and used magnacor leads.
it also has:
gsi front brakes
spare remapped ecu
black dash conversion
white dials
vectra sri estate spoiler
astra gsi fan style wheels
black calibra turbo leather front seats
lowered all round
remus twin square exit backbox
gsi grille
please remember this is a 10-11 year old van, it has about five months tax and test but does have a few minor problems:
rust to rear arches doors and tailgate beginning to show
wear to drivers seat
the body has a few minor dents and bonnet could do with replacing
*the front gearbox mount is currently broken but this is sorted to be repaired on the 24th march*
this van owes me alot of money and i dont really want to sell it but i need a new car again as new job meaning car sharing. im after about £1100 ono but willing to listen to px's
