Corsa C head unit probs!

can anyone tell me how to fit an aftermarket headunit into a corse c its a 51 reg gls if that makes any difference.

i have got the old unit out and the blanking plate in but i cant seem to get the headunit in and working, is there a nack to this or am i doing something fundementally wrong?

mine went straight in m8 with no probs give it a wiggle or summat or see if theres anywires in the back of it in the way
