tools needed to tint headlights are-
heat gun or hair dryer.
stanley knife.
masking tape.
silicone.
matt black spray.
how to tint headlights mk3 astra-
remove headlight from car and remove bulbs. Then heat the headlight up where the glass joins the plastic case, heat it up all the way round, then with a stanley knife run it all the way round the groove between the glass and plastic case, this will help free the glass from the caseing and will cut the silicone that there fitted with from new.
Then you should now be able to seperate the glass, when you have done this you have to mask the area so the inside of the headlight does not get sprayed.

use matt black spray, thats what i used,i also sprayed the whole of the outside even the part of the caseing.
to re-fit the glass you will need silicone to stick the glass back to the case.silicone the case where the glass sits, then place glass onto the case pressing firmly make sure its secure and stuck properly,i then ran a smear of silicone all the way round the edge,so that no water can leak in,then re-fit headlights
