Year of Manufacture 1984.
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1796CC.


Carmine Red.
1.8e SRi.
61,000 mls.
Completely original (apart from a high level brake light, 2 mins to remove).
Recaro interior.
Original alloys in good condition.
New rear brakes.
Sills are in very good condition. (the smallest ammount of rust on the jacking points)
Heated mirrors.(Working, just been sprayed Midnight Black)
Stacks of history, receipts etc.

Paintwork needs serious attention.
No stereo.
Dash top has cracks.
Drivers seat has wear in the usual places.
Mannual sunroof mechanism has snapped off.
Hole in bottom of drivers door.
Tempermental fuel gauge.
Tax ran out 01/07/07
MOT ran out 23/06/07


This thing really goes for a car that's 23 years old, raises a few eyebrows.
I'm only selling due to getting another car that needs a little TLC.

I work 12 hr shifts, sometimes days and nights back to back and understand it gets in the way.

He made an offer before it went public and has been on here recently.
I've worked 12 hr shifts for the last 6 days, 7am-7pm and I still manage to pop in. ;)

well i no some people wont agree with my plans but im going to mint the outside up completley standard apart from a few subtle tweeks including 5 stud conv, cav turbo rims , lowered suspention etc interior is going complete mk3 gsi inc dash etc but half leathered seats and under the bonnet will be an old faithful xe , the colour is going to be the oe carmine red on top with a metalic anthricate on the bottom and rims opinions ?

me and dave have dicussed this greatly and all mods can be changed back as all the original equpiment is been kept safe in storage so tbh i cant see the problem it isnt like a delta kit or 4x4ing it as you all know dave knows his spanners as do some of you please tell me how long does it take to change rear hubs?id say 30mins with bleeding per side if you have a problem so it can easily be converted back if needs must(ie if sold etc) i agree 100% with dave and have thrown in a few ideas myself again all reversible

should be nice...i see what you all mean about keeping it standard, but imo there is more cost and effort to restore it than to tart it up tastfully, and if it can all go back then there shouldn't be a problem.

well steve its going a lot more standard than it was going to be, im loving the seats so interior is staying standard apart from the seats being half leathered(there mullered) atside is being lowered on turb rims and thats about it for now
