Yes gave the GTE some abuse yesterday back from a mates house and all was going very well until I dropped it down and powered up a steep bank and the oil level warning light came on..

So knowing how crap the check display is I ignored it and drove the last 2miles home with no problems.

Looks like the HG has blown between an oilway and waterway, as the new coolant which was nice and blue on wednesday is now lovely brown colour lol

So Head off today and check things out. Will also take the oil pump off and check it all and sort the pressure relief valve issuses.

Also ripping the PAS setup all off it today too if I have time ;), am swapping for a manual rack from a mate on mk2.com

Oh the joys of owning a 17 year old car hehe!!

Shame my partner in crime FrankieSR is away on holiday :rolleyes:

Lol I put the engine in on my own in the snow remember over the winter ;)

Will get the bits I need tomorrow from vaux (if they've got the stuff :rolleyes: )

Parts ordered today at Vauxhall, will be in on wednesday, so car will be running on thursday :D
