Myself and a few of my mates have been pondering weather to buy a cb each, whats the best make and where to getthem from the cheaper the better, or does any1 have one on here they no longer want/need/use, i would prefer a hand held/mobile cb so i can use it in the car aswell as in the house, if any1 has a cheap cb unit for sale let me know, it doesnt have to be super duper fantastic as long as it works

Best place to look is good old e-bay, they pop up on there all the time.

The best make is Midland or Havard

Whitebullet - by the way if you do get an unit for the car as well, make sure you get a magnetic arial base for the roof, and put 2 or 3 layers of masking tape on the base before you plonk it on the roof.

.......... and dont do what I did once and forget that you have the aeriel on the roof and go under a low bridge! I ended up with the mag mount and aerial stuck to the passenger door!
