Hi there and welcome to the site.

As Dave said we are relatively new having established in May 2006. We achieved VBOA associate membership in June of 2007 and attended our first Billing show as a club this July. We have about 350 Registered Users and around 40 paid members but the number is growing all the time.

The Club was started by 4 of us who decided that there were many deficits with other clubs which we thought that we would try to rectify. We are getting there slowly however it takes time to grow and we rely largly on workd of mouth although we have managed to get several fetaures in TV from shows, membersh cars being featured and also from a rolling road event which was covered by TV last October.

At this stage we have two main regions that being Scotland (thanks to our dedicated regional co-ordinator Chik and the people that she has rallied round to spread the Cvox cause). The other region is the midlands region. The committee all living in the midlands it was the first region to establish and grow.

Last year/this year show wise we did PV and Billing but also did 3 shows in Scotland and also a couple of smaller local shows around the midlands area.

We have a few registered users in the south but as yet only a couple of paid members although they dont actually actively partake in the club which is a shame. We have struggled to promote ourselves in other regions ie the north of england and the south and we always ask new people to spread the word for us and encourage people to join up. The only way we will grow in those regions is if people will stick it out and help us to help the areas grow.

As for shows for 2008 we will be looking at that in the near future and hopefully we will have details soon. We will definitely be doing PV and Billing but other events are still to be confirmed.

I would point out of course for insurance reasons everyone who wishes to exhibit their car on our stand at any event has to be a paid member of the club. :D

Hope all of the above helps. Your car is very nice and a real credit to you. Hope you stick around and please help us out by getting your friends to join up :D
