Anyone have a guide?

So far I know it's not a hard conversion to undertake, and that a F18 is the best gearbox to use (due to longer 5th gear) just need some more info really..

Main question..

1). Engine mounts?
2). Wiring it all up?

Cheers to anyone who can help :)

wiring is not hard if u use cav/cali inlets, loom +ecu and just use the mounts of a cav with the f20 box and bobs ur uncle

if your using any box other than a v6 one (f25) youll need make spacers up i take it your ripping omega apart if so what bout brakes hubs etc as astra youll need 1.8 or bigger for the bigger block hubs mount should go straight up but i would recommond you gt the top steady as found on cali cav etc (cambelt side )

i did it on my estate, make sure you put some time aside to do it, Wiring can be tricky epecially with the ignition wires (they need snipping and relocating) Spacers I could only get from 2 places in stoke and i ended up paying £50 from ace vauxhall for a spacer and mount! (grr)
Try and find someone breaking a 2.0 astra as you will need the big block legs (or just the hubs) brakes, rad, various pipes, 160mph clocks and the mfd is a pretty cool thing to wire up to the v6 (it reminds you that you can get 19mpg!). Also the angle grinder will have to come out to modify the front of the shell to place the rad in as it wont fit in front of the engine!
Thats pretty much how i did mine (with help off a couple of pals) if i did it the right way or not doesn't matter.....it ran sweet!
