nowt worry about imo itl prob be the spring on the pedal (im presuming yours still runs cable and not hydrodric clutch ) poke ya head down have a look whilst pushing it down with ya hand then you should be able see the prob i would of thought

i think its a hydraulic clutch on the corsa but dont quote me on it as im not totally sure, either way there will still be a return spring on the pedal.
not sure about the corsa as i have never looked at the pedal box setup on them but usually there is a plastic grommet that sits in the body of the pedal then the spring sits into the grommet. all the grommet does is stop the noise made from metal to meatal contact. what i have seen happening commonly on other cars is the grommet pops out of the pedal because of the angle of the spring but the spring stays inside the hole in the pedal and thats what gives you the clicking noise.
recon it could be that but without loooking at it or hearing the noise i couldnt be totally sure.

check out that link. 140 branches nationwide.
the last time the figures were published a couple of years ago he was worth 80 million, and the company has got bigger since then. recon he could be over the 100 million mark easy now.

few folk i have worked with have got fed up with the company and moved to a different company only for arnold clark to buy them out and take over.
im just waiting for him to die/retire and for the company to go pear shaped then ill start up myself.
