Heater Blower Fault (Non-Vaux)

Got a blower not working in a P-Reg Renault Scenic 1.6.

Has been playing up for a few months according to owner, now has packed in.

Had been blowing fine then 'slowing' down as you drive along and stopping, then starting again etc

I'm thinking control module...

Have yet to check fuses (but seeing as it's only been working on setting 4 for the last few weeks i doubt a fuse has blown..)

Anyone agree?

if its anything like the mk3 astra this fault is generally the resistor circuit, simple remove and replace in the astra but im clueless about the renault
