not vaux, clio makin funny noise

i no its not vauxhall but my ladys clio is makin a right funny rubbing noise when just going along at about 30, the noise comes on and off and makes it more when the clutch it down, i was told it might be the clutch releas bearing any suggestions?? if it turns out to be the bearing is there anyone who wants to fit a new clutch and bearing as garges charge silly amounts

sounds like release bearing, although mine did it at all speeds even idle when it broke.

hi all, the car is perfectly drivable but is now making it constantly when the clutch is down. so i think release bearing is on its way out, i can get it to cheadle wayne if u want a look, ow much we looking for a new clutch ?

car has stoped making the noise :S so she says shes leaving it for now cheers any way wayne if it starts up again i will give ya a bell
