Well, its time to get the car serviced and mot'd. The same garage has done the work since new so I called them today to find out if they had done the timing belt. Was a bit worried that it hadnt been done. They told me that it was done at 39,000 so im ok for a while :)
To do both the service and mot £89.00 :D
Booked for tuesday, going to miss it while its away :(

Places round here are offering £15 oil and filter changes, which seems very good, seen has decent oil is around £15 a bottle. and they dispose of your old oil for you, which is always a problem when serviceing it on your drive.

If it wasnt for the fact that I would have to tow my own fuel tanker to get there I would be booking mine in somewhere up your way... Mines due in the next couple of weeks... just a service though :(

wont be bringing the 4x4 .... it would take a week and would cost a small mortgage in fuel compared to the vectra :D

just got my baby back, failed on a bloody wiper blade that i hadnt even noticed was worn. All fixed now and feels much better now the service has been done.
Tad lighter in the pocket but I'm happy - just the respray on the scratches now (£200 which will also cover colour coding the handles) should have it in on thursday for that.
N.B xmas is cancelled :( lol
