02 1.6i engine 2 replace Nova 1.6 efi GTE "wot do i need ?? ecu/loom ??

Hi i need to replace my 1990 1.6i 8v efi Nova GTE engine And a friend of mine has offered me a 2002 1.6i 8v engine 53k engine/box and anything else i need, My car is has a loom for a 1.6 GTE engine so was just going to take off the newer injection inlet off the 02 engine and fit my EFI inlet manifold to the engine so it would run of my gte inlet/ecu/loom/etc... to save changing all the wires/plugs. But this 02 engine has the newer dizzy (sqaure box type) not the orange/black cap type that you can change! my old type dizzy wont fit this engine as its designed for the newer sqaure dizzy's, So can i still run this engine with the new type sqaure dizzy on my GTE ecu ??? Can it be wired in so it will run on the newer dizzy on my gte ecu ?? Ive been told the later version of my 1.6i gte engine (Nova gsi) has the same type dizzy as the 1 im asking about so if my ecu wont work would a later gsi ecu work on mine or would i have to change all the loom aswell as the ecu ??? can some 1 pls advise

TBH mate its going be a lot of messing about if I were you I would put up a wanted ad for a nova gsi/gte lump on migweb and novaload.
Other options I would be looking at are the c16xe or x16xe out of a corsa gsi which will fit on the standard mounts and box and would just need a bit of wiring, or just fit a c20xe which is almost standard fit in novas these days theres been that many done.
