Just a thought, how about we create a list of scrap yards with addresses what kind of cars they have in and are they cheap expensive etc ...

ive got a list of em at work i nip down tomorrow of top of me head the 2 i mainly use
boundary breakers bout 25~30 motors all bout 10~15yr old very cheap
jenkos sandon stafford fair few motors alot of landrovers again veryvery cheap but only any good if you remove yourself and run old cars

oooo Furbers at Whixall are great fun... you get to get in there and weild a screwdriver and spanner or ten :D:D:D:D

although other men tend to stare at me.... :(

dont think they used to seeing a woman covered in oil and sludge grinning like a cheshire cat with armfuls of goodies and a tool box... or fighting with a bloke three times her size over a screwdriver ... lol :D

R&S Spares Newtown - Fair selection of vehicles even though it's only a small joint, downsides are 'whatever he fancies at the time' pricelist, and unhelpfulness of staff..

Dingle Hall Recovery Yard Newtown- Walk around freely with no hassle, tidy blokes and cheap stuff, downsides are most cars 95% destroyed in major RTA's and have little in the way of spares.

Potters Welshpool - No longer able to walk around, turn up & get turned away, ring with order wait a week or more, very expensive, so dont bother!
